Look who turns 15 today
STAT OF THE DAY #1 - before yesterday, there had never been a major league baseball game in which both starting pitchers were celebrating their birthday! The Chicago Cubs at Cincinnati Reds game featured Ryan Dempster and Homer Bailey as the starting pitchers - yes, you guessed it, they were both celebrating their birthdays yesterday - Dempster turned 35 and Bailey turned 26!!!

Stat of the Day # 2 - In the past 40 years, only two players 40 years old or older had hit a walk off home run to win a baseball game. Wednesday night, both Chipper Jones and Jason Giambi accomplished this feat - they are both 40 years old!!!
